API Usage & OAuth Permissions

Aiso uses Google OAuth to provide secure authentication and access to Google APIs for AI search optimization services.

Why Aiso Uses Google OAuth

Aiso integrates with Google Cloud services to provide AI search visibility tracking and optimization features. We use Google OAuth 2.0 to securely authenticate users and access only the data necessary to deliver our services.

Data We Request

When you connect your Google account to Aiso, we request the following information:

  • Basic profile information (name, email) - for account management and personalized experience
  • Google Analytics API access - to track AI search visibility and performance metrics
  • Search Console data - to analyze how your content appears in AI-powered search results

How We Use Your Data

The data accessed through Google OAuth is used exclusively for:

  • Providing AI search optimization insights and recommendations
  • Tracking your brand's visibility in ChatGPT and other AI search engines
  • Generating reports on AI search performance
  • Suggesting content optimizations to improve AI search rankings

Data Security

We follow industry best practices to protect your data:

  • All API access uses OAuth 2.0 secure authentication
  • Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
  • We request only the minimum necessary scopes
  • You can revoke access at any time through your Google account settings
  • Data is stored securely and never shared with third parties without your explicit consent

Your Control

You have full control over your data:

  • You can disconnect your Google account anytime through Aiso's account settings
  • You can revoke specific API permissions through your Google account settings
  • You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
  • Contact us to request a copy of your data or to request deletion

OAuth Scopes

Aiso requests the following Google OAuth scopes:

  • userinfo.profile - Basic profile information
  • userinfo.email - Email address for account management
  • analytics.readonly - Read-only access to analytics data
  • webmasters.readonly - Read-only access to Search Console data

All permissions are requested on a read-only basis where possible. We never request write access to your accounts.
